In addition to young children, Yayasan Chow Kit also works with teenagers by providing them a safe haven and alternative home schooling opportunity at the KL Krashpad community centre.

“But what am I going to do after I graduate from YCK?” is a commonly asked question by our beneficiaries.

This is where our team of educators and Social Workers would work with the teenager to discuss and plan for their tertiary education pathway. However, there are many hidden costs that come with higher education in addition to existing registration and tuition fees. Costs such as transport fees, resource fees, formal clothing, food stipend and technology fees are just some few examples of the unseen transactions, which our students are unequipped to afford.

We believe that attaining and pursuing higher education would greatly transform the lives of our students and help them break the cycle of poverty. This is where we would like to appeal to your kind generosity to help us fund our Tertiary Education aid – whereby the donations would go on to support our students in their pursuit of higher education.
