Responsibilities:
- To assist the Centre Manager in handling the full administrative duties of the Centre.
- To handle maintenance of general office equipment and environment, handling purchase and distribution of office supplies such as stationeries.
- To handle petty cash for the centre
- Assists with the preparation and organizing driver schedules.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries from staff, clients, corporate/government agencies and general public.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or other related field
- Exceptional knowledge of office administration and basic bookkeeping procedures
- Have good IT skills – MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Possess good writing and speaking skills in BM and English.

EDUCATION SUPPORT INTERN

What You Will Do
Teaching Support
- Assist teachers during classroom lessons and activities.
- Support students in Pre-School and Primary classes.
- Help prepare teaching and learning materials.
- Assist with classroom management and student engagement.
- Support lesson delivery during teacher absences under staff supervision.
- Participate in educational programmes, workshops, and student activities.
Administrative & Programme Support
- Assist with student data entry and record-keeping.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and programme documentation.
- Gain exposure to programme planning, reporting, and proposal development.
- Assist with event coordination and programme logistics.
- Support general administrative tasks as required.

SOCIAL WORKER SUPPORT INTERN
Job Purpose
The Intern will support the organization in delivering social work services, program activities, administrative functions, and documentation. This role provides valuable exposure to community work, child and youth development, case management processes, and program coordination while contributing to the well-being of children and families under the organization’s care.
Key Responsibilities
Social Work Support
- Assist with social work-related activities, including outreach, documentation, etc
- Assist with school-related matters and activities involving children.
- Observe and document interactions, behaviours, and progress of children and adolescents.
- Prepare and submit observation reports to the Head of Social Work.
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation and case notes.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative and operational assistance to support the organization’s daily functions.
- Assist in maintaining records, filing, data entry, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Child and Youth Engagement
- Build positive relationships and rapport with children and adolescents.
- Plan and facilitate interactive, educational, and recreational activities suitable for children and teenagers.
- Encourage participation and engagement in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT INTERN
Job Purpose
The Program Development Intern supports the Programs Team in the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and activities conducted by Yayasan Chow Kit. The intern will gain hands-on experience in community development, event management, stakeholder engagement, and program administration while contributing to initiatives that support children, youth, and families from underserved communities. The role provides valuable exposure to the operations of a non-profit organization and the development of impactful social programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Research & Planning
– Assist in developing program concepts, objectives, and activities
– Help create program timelines and run-of-show
2. Content & Material Development
– Help to prepare slides, proposal, handouts and other program materials
– Assist to update content in social media group
3. Event & Implementation Support
– Coordinate logistics: venue, attendance, materials
– Support on event day: registration, flow, crowd control
– Act as point person for volunteers/participants if needed
4. Documentation & Reporting
– Take notes during meetings, workshops, town halls
– Compile feedback and photos for post-event reports
– Help maintain program database + digital forms
5. Stakeholder Coordination
– Liaise with volunteers, partners, speakers as assigned
– Send reminders and follow-ups via WhatsApp
– Assist with data collection for impact tracking
Who We Are Looking For

NOTE : These internships are unpaid and has a minimum duration of 3 months.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Education, Community Development, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Comfortable using social media and digital communication platforms.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to participate in program activities, including occasional evenings or weekends when required.
